We recently attended the Cascade Cougar Crawl at Marcus and Holden's elementary school. Each grade runs around the "track" for about 15 minutes with music playing and a balloon arch to run under when a lap is completed. They also got a black mark on their hand for each lap they ran and got an otter pop at the end. Wether watched intently as Holden ran with the kindergartens. About half way through, he asked if he could run too. I thought he'd be done after 1 lap, but he wanted to keep running. He finished with the kindergartners and then ran for another 15 minutes with the first graders. I was amazed at his stamina and desire to keep running. Wether ran with Marcus and the 2nd grade class too. I tried to get him to stop to drink from a water bottle, but he just took the bottle from me and ran a lap with it before throwing it at my feet on his next lap. I finally was able to coax him onto the playground only to find him moments later running with the 3rd graders! When I finally snatched him off the track, he had 12 black marks on his hand (about 2 miles) and had run for almost 45 minutes (he ran very slowly but never walked). He's been saying for days "I'm a runner!" and frequently asks to look as this picture I took with my phone:  |

| Wether wore this costume for hours, which says a lot considering he can't use his hands and can see out of only 1 eye. He put it on first thing in the morning the next day too. He keeps trying to say "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" but it comes out like "Yo ho ho and I play my drum". |
