After a rocky start - bad weather and worse Labor Day weekend traffic - we made it to Payson to go berry-picking with the Sims. This is the 4th year in a row that our families have gotten together - a tradition that will hopefully continue for many years to come. By the time we arrived, the weather had cleared and the berries were ripe and ready for picking. It's always fun when the boys grasp the concept of actually putting the berries in the basket instead of eating them off the vine. Wether gathered a basketful of raspberries this year proclaiming "I did it!" with each berry he picked. Marcus and Holden also picked raspberries, while Kjell gathered blackberries. Afterward, we stopped at a Carl's Jr. with a playground in Spanish Fork, which prompted Wether's prayer tonight "thank you for blackberries, raspberries, Mikey, French fries, chicken nuggets and playing in the park."
